The detainees wanted to flee from Ukraine to Romania in order not to serve in the Armed Forces. They tried to do this on foot and by swimming.

“Some of them were going to pass through the mountains, while the others were going to swim. Wetsuits and car cameras were supposed to help them overcome the cold current of the Tisza River,” the State Border Service told the details.
